CCA members are fundamental to the success of the Annual Scientific Session. Hundreds of CCAs flock to the meeting to learn alongside their physician colleagues. The American College of Cardiology will honor its CCA members with a sumptuous reception on March 25, from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., attended by cardiac care team members, College leadership and high-profile physicians. Network with leaders in cardiology, and your nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner and physician assistant peers, and enjoy an open bar and tasty hors d'oeuvres. We warmly welcome members and nonmembers of the College. Also stop by the CCA Community Lounge to relax, network and check your email.

If you are a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, clinical nurse specialist or physician assistant and are not a member, visit http://www.acc.org/membership/cca/join/join.htm to download the membership application. You'll receive a dramatic discount on registration for ACC.07 along with the many other benefits of membership.

Fellows in Training Opportunities

FITs at ACC.07 will enjoy a variety of programming designed to help them make pivotal decisions regarding careers in academic medicine and private practice. The highly popular FIT Community Room will once again be available to allow for networking and roundtable discussions on issues of importance to fellows.

Pediatric cardiology fellows are invited to attend the special program "Building a Successful Academic Career" (see the CHD/PC Section). Special sessions for fellows entering interventional training will also be available.

Women in Cardiology

Women cardiologists who are members of the College are invited to attend Women in Cardiology Section events during ACC.07.
